The Loot Capsule is the second thing I added to the project, Operation Starfall. After my Classmates had added health pickups to the game, I wanted to make something that the player could use to get those items from.

This is the design I ultimately came up with for the loot capsule, I wanted something that looked futuristic and opened in a special way, but also looked like you could find it in the forest where a war had taken place long ago.

These are the sources of inspiration, I would say that I mainly took from the designs of the armor capsule in Megaman x, and the lootcrate in overwatch.

The Model, animation and Texture of the loot capsule were all made by me. I made the model in Blender, the animation in both blender and unity, and the texture in Adobe Substance Painter.
